"We arrived before check in and the hotel offered to hold our luggage for us so we could explore Chitose without something rolling behind us. Then when we checked in, the staff put our luggage in our room! What a surprise and such a kind thought. Breakfast offered a lot of local favorites with a variety of choices. "This is a beautiful property with lake Toya on one side and Yoteii mountain on the other. The rooms are the largest we have seen in Japan with a beautiful sitting area and large bathroom with a huge tub both overlooking Lake Toya! This made for excellent firework viewing from the room for the local festival. They also had a nice common area in the hotel with some tables, coffee, tea and hot water to use. The location was convenient to drive to Toyaka Onsen town for food, but also to Rusutsu for skiing. "

"Very convenient to the JR station, but took their free door to Airport shuttle bus which was so nice on our departure morning since it had snowed overnight! Didn’t have to lug our bags on the snowy sidewalk!"
