It was driving distance to what ended up being my favorite beach in Crete, and Ioanna was a wonderful host, very helpful and accommodating, and it was lovely to spend some time chatting with her about the cool history of the property. "The Coriva Beach hotel is a delight. Everywhere you look, the property is beautifully maintained, everything is just aesthetically pleasing, the staff is warm and friendly. The hotel is not opulently luxurious or overdone. It's a family owned place: three brothers took over the management of the place from their Dad.
