"We were welcomed by friendly staff in a beautiful medieval house. The restaurant and breakfast room are located in this ‘castle.’ The rooms are located across the street in a new-fangled room complex. The rooms are modern and functionally furnished. Unfortunately, there was a lack of maintenance of the rooms; the shower floor and chairs are damaged. All this should not spoil the fun, but that is not what you expect from a (Fletcher) hotel. "Short walk to the local shops. Lots of parking spaces never s struggle to get a space. Tehre was a wheelchair ramp up to the hotel reception. A 10 pin bowling alley shares the car park. It had a secure bicycle lock dedicated building, accessible with your room key card."

"What a great hotel. Large car park. Lovelly staff. The room was very big the bathroom excellent with bath and shower. The bed was brilliant as were the pillows. Wi Fi was great. The lift was very useful."

" Everything was well taken care of. Except there is no elevator and the room is on the 2nd floor (5x stairs)! That is too much for someone who is 83 and not very mobile. It is also not mentioned anywhere, otherwise my hotel/B&B choice would have been different."

"Stayed in one of the wooden cabins overlooking the marina. Stunning location! Very quiet as very late in the season, but eveything was immaculately maintained. The cabin was clean and tidy, with a great shower room. Settee and dining table. Good WiFi connection in the cabin. Useable kitchenette with two ring hob, kettle, coffee maker, fridge and dishwasher, with plenty of crockery and cutlery. Comfortable beds, although no room at the sides so had to get in and out from the bottom. And...

"Nice location with boat rental on site but you pay more for this convenience. Cottages were nothing special but adequate for our needs - very basic amenities, bath towels were laughable as they were the size of hand towels which may be good for Chinese visitors but not larger tourists. Easy walk from end of road. Staff made check in and out very easy. No privacy at all as the cottages are very close together including campers behind the cottages. Overall ok but if we came back may look around for other options."

"We stayed here for 4 nights with our 2 boys. We were recommended this place from a friend and it was perfect. We cycled every day and found some beautiful spots. We used the facilities for swimming and a drink at the bar. It was extremely quiet which was lovely"
