"The photos are simply untrue. The camp is in poor condition - broken chairs & lanterns; blankets thrown about; garbage strewn here & there. There is only one outlet in each tent and electricity was not always available. We had less than five minutes of hot water over 48 hours. Often one teenager was the only staff on site, and we had to communicate using Google translate, as the adults simply were not around. "According to locals this used to be very good, since Covid it has falling in disrepair. We checking in at night to a dark lobby only reception had light. Our room was moldy around the air conditioner and sink which was also filthy. The toilet seat was not attached and toilet dirty. We didn’t stay and didn’t receive our deposit back. "

"The hotel manager was very helpful, collected us from Merzouga and drove us back and forth to the MaMa Africa music festival. (We travel by bus not car). The staff were keen to help and i was able to have several large pot of Lipton (black tea) with milk......bliss. The food seemed good although we didn’t have a main meal as we ate mainly in Merzouga. The pool was wonderful and wine was available at a good price."
