"Room was very spacious. 2 full queen beds. Patio on one side of the room and smaller patio on the other side. Room was very clean. Staff were all very pleastant and helpful. Only small negatives was low pressure in shower but this is Italy so i wouldn't deduct anything for that. Hotel is a maybe a 7 min walk to the center. "

"Pros- Good view of ocean, good location. Cons- None of the amenities listed were there. Parking is street parking so hopefully there’s a spot, if not you’ll have to hunt a space. There was no WiFi signal in the room. Pool and Spa don’t even exist at the property. The rooms aren’t great and you can hear everything on the outside. "3rd floor. No elevator. A/c was old . Cover was hanging off. Shower was small. Had a plastic mat , that was dirty. Had a hard tv with the tv. Receptionist said she was going to fix a/c & tv never did. Also asked to change room to lower floor. Her response was no, because we booked an economy room with Expedia. And we couldn’t lock door. We checked out a day earlier. 6 flights of stairs."

"I am giving this hotel 5 stars for the location. Close to the train station, main center and it's a 10 min walk to the beach. Rooms are very basic and dated!. AC was weak but it was enough to keep us cool. Showers are extremely small but doable if you are average height/size. Just avoid the free breakfast - it's not edible. They offer pre ordered plates which are basically day old pastries, cold cuts and meats that look like canned and a coffee machine with bland drink. The female staff here...

"The location is perfect if you don’t have access to a car, everything is in walking distance and it’s in a safe area. The staff were amazing and so supportive. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. I would stay here again if I return to Tropea"
