"My wife and I were lucky to book this place on the weekend of three Taylor Swift concerts. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. We were steps away from several restaurants and cafes and a view of Edinburgh Castle was literally right around the corner. It was clean and incredibly quiet for being right on Princes St. Apart from a broken lift and having to lug three suitcases up 4 flights of stairs, we loved it and would likely stay again. "

"Our original room ended up having some water issues due to flooding in the room above us so they were quick to answer our call when we found the water leak in the bathroom and switched us to another room, the manager was very kind, friendly and left us a bottle of wine and snacks for the kids in our new room, we were very happy with their service. The breakfast was also great, good and plenty of food and very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff."

"What you expect from a Marriott property, however rooms are small, mattress cover made a lot of noise!! Sounded life a water proof cover used on a toddler bed. We were a party of 8, four rooms, everyone had the same comment about the “noisy beds”."
