Wow, what a spot. Just across from the beach, restaurants, shopping. It’s all right there. And our own huge private terrace with a great view. They were very helpful with everything. And the short walk to the private parking was helpful and less expensive than the public garage.

A nice little place in a great location! Very easy walk to the beach, trains, and into town. Room is nice enough, only had a few complaints but they wouldn’t stop me from staying again are: -there was no actual mini fridge, just a wine fridge and nowhere to plug it in. -construction woke us up at 7:30 one day and cleaning woke us up at 8 another day. This eco-friendly hotel is a hidden gem. The house is comfortable and clean, situated in the mountains. The couple that run the hotel are AMAZING. They were very much on top of supporting our family while we stayed there.

It was a lovely time, the room was small but fine for my boyfriend and I. It wasn't a too far walk from town and I liked how there was a garden and seating area outside. Levanto is beautiful!

Highly recommend Pensione Sorriso for a stay in Vernazza. Evelyn was a wonderful host and went beyond expectations in helping us enjoy our stay. The hotel has a bright breakfast area/lobby and a nice patio/garden to enjoy. We stayed in a room with a private bath and balcony. Although no sea view from the rooms, there is one from the patio and the sea is only a two or three minute walk from the hotel.

Extremely comfy beds and pillows, cold a/c, big shower, staff very friendly, luggage storage, beach towel & shower available on checkout day after going to beach! Short 5 min walk from train station and 2 min walk to beach. Would recommend.

I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting La Spezia, Portovenere or Cinque Terre. Short car drive to catch the ferry or train! House has a beautiful Mountain View, Italian breakfast was amazing, room was comfortable with a very nice bathroom but most importantly, staff was very welcoming and gave us amazing tips as to how to make the most of our short stay in La Spezia. We will be back!

The hotel staff made us feel like we were right at home; we felt like we were staying with friends. The hotel was close to the train (which could be a bit confusing at times). We used the beach near the hotel which was wonderful after a day of touring. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful when recommending restaurants, etc. Our room was clean, beautiful, and one of the biggest rooms we've had in Europe. Such a hidden gem! We wish we could stay longer and will definitely do so the next time. The hotel is up in the mountain, 10 min away from the Manarola bus stop, perfect location for a quiet and relaxing retreat, The bus runs every hour and is 2.50 Euro if you don't have Cinque Terre pass. Amazing! Love how this place is slightly away from the center of town. The hill to the hotel was a pain but definitely worth it!

We booked this room based on the reviews and ratings this B&B received on Expedia. We were not disappointed with our choice. A beautiful location nestled in the hills above La Spezia.
