"Wifi had poor signal, then we had a message to say it was unsecure, so off liine for our stay. Otherise hotel as expected short walk to Burgos Cathedral so excellent location. Be aware of no bar or evening food available, though snack/ drinks vending machines provided."

"It was a very cold & windy two days we spent at the hotel. The reception staff are great. There is parking acress the street but no elevator, only stairs, and no bell service to help with luggage. The room had an amazing view of the Cathedral but is limited on services and amenities The hotel is close to many restaurants. "A little out on a limb but super gardens and whilst between motorways the hotel is well soundproofed. 15 minutes drive from beautiful Burgos and ideally positioned for motorways to travel to/from Santander. The hotel is friendly and the bedrooms finished to a super standard even down to the big white fluffy towels. "We chose this hotel because it was an hour from Santander and just off our main route from Portugal to the ferry port for the UK. Lovely town with impressive old centre and lovely riverside walks. Lively market the day we arrived (Tuesday). Be aware that self-parking is actually free on-street parking but area seems very secure so we left most of our extensive contents in car and had no problem. Also,hotel restaurant non-functioning so sought dinner in town and nowhere open until 9pm. But...

"Great hotel in a fantastic location with wonderful views of the valley and griffon vultures circling above the cliffs opposite. No restaurant meals on Wednesday as the chef has a day off but the bar menu was a fine alternative. It's a bit tricky to reach the hotel as the village's roads a very narrow and steep but it's not a problem with a little care."
