"This was a real find, being in the town, local to the railway station and to my appointment in St Mary's Hill. i needed only a small space and had that. I was out a lot over two days so the room was good for sleeping, breakfasting and overnight storage. All mod cons. Shower excellent. The internal stairs and corridors of living in the exceptionally old building pleased me. I'd stay again."

"I am a disabled, and our room was on a first floor, I could have managed the stairs, but Barry on the front desk was so kind, caring and helpful person, he switched our room on the ground floor even without we asking."

"First visit a welcome surprise with amenities provided. Ensuite was bigger than my bathroom. Bed comfy. Didn't hear other guests. Ample storage space for everything. Clean soft towels. My only bad comment would be the cups provided, I prefer mugs of tea or coffee. But now I know I'll bring my own, no probs."

"Great location, pub & staff. We arrived at the property late just as the kitchen had closed, Kristey on the front desk ran to the kitchen to sought us food. She then checked us in, showed us the private outside terrace over looking the water and got food served up their for us. Nothing was too much trouble, great pleasant manner and anything we needed was no trouble. Excellent customer service, and the reason for our pleasant stay. "

"A perfect stay - friendly welcoming staff, well equipped room with hugh fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Amazing dinner menu at affordable prices, good breakfast selection. The hotel is updated, the grounds are immaculate. Decor in the dining area an bars is bright, modern and comfortable. Internet had a few hiccups, and desk in room was a little small but, aside from this we would return in a heartbeat."

"The Normanton Park hotel was excellent. The experience with Expedia and our original hotel booking was terrible. We booked several weeks in advance and had a confirmed booking by Expedia at the other hotel, the booking was cancelled at short notice by a phone call from the hotel. It took me 3 hours on the phone to get Expedia to find us another hotel in the area. The original hotel was no help at all, Expedia suggested we call the hotel direct and rebook at a higher cost.
