"This hotel is ideally placed for exploring the Ratnapura area. The hotel was clean, service was good and the food was amazing. Sitting on my terrace watching the wildlife was wonderful."

"We had a very pleasant stay at Aramya Riverfront Boutique Resort. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and comfortable, and the pool is fantastic. The hotel also has a wonderful setting with great views of the surrounding rainforest. The staff were one of the highlights of our stay. "Excellent staff. Comfortable rooms. Could do with a little reno on the rooms and bath rooms as they are a little dated."

"Cabins are rustic, spacious and very lovely. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Food was very good, especially the chicken springrolls. I didn’t use the pool but people I was with did and they loved it. It’s a great place to get away from it all. Bring a book or two! The last few km of road to get there is terrible so plan on one trip in and one trip out when you leave. "

"The resort was not informed about my booking and i was in trouble when i reached there & finally i had to pay there again by cash. I tried to cancel my booking but i couldn't find the cancellation option. Finally not recommend this resort and also booking through expedia"

"Nedeeka the owner of the property has been very kind and provided whatever was required to make the stay comfortable."

"Although the facility has so much potential we were very surprised at the unfinished state of the rooms and amenities."

"The couple who maintain are good people but its in remote area and even if u order food which nothing is there around it will take an hour to come if at all! tough to get Uber Tuk tuk from there to any place in city, there are dogs outside so u cannot walk, and the property says 1030pm curfew - no going out nor coming in till 630. Stayed somehow for 6 days !!!! All the best to all who wish to stay. Good for 1 day romantic couples who go and just lock doors and enjoy! "

"The room was large and clean in a quiet environment directly on the lake. Comfortable bed and excellent WIFI. Very nice pool as well. The onsite manager was very accommodating and did everything he could to make our stay comfortable. "
