"We booked a garden studio and were a bit disappointed to be backing onto the laundry and as such our bathroom smelt a bit fusty. Our outside space was also disappointing as there was a bench perched on uneven slabs so was not level and not really user friendly. The corner bath with shower over was a bit precarious to get into without a proper handrail to grab or curtain around either and the shower head was too low for me being 6ft. Fabulous fresh breakfast.Nick helped us tour, walking routes and taxis. Had great beer at his pub! Little Thai takeaway near his house had fresh dinners at reasonable price. Had our first NZ pie at downtown bakery.. too good. Nelson will be hard to beat."
