"This was our second visit to Blue Nijmegen. Once again we were impressed by the staff, meals, cleanliness and comfort. The bed was so comfy that it was difficult to get going in the morning. "Lovely hotel in the old part of Amersfoort - we couldn’t believe how close we were to the centre of town! Staff were very friendly and accommodating with our requests. Our two young boys loved climbing the typically Dutch stairs to our top floor room. Room itself had plenty of space. Just be aware that there is no mini fridge in the room (just some sort of ice box) which made it a little hard since we stayed for almost a week and couldn’t go out for every meal (kids!) and they have no laundry...

"The property is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was good. You can't park directly at the hotel but there is an underground garage 5 minutes walk across from the park behind the hotel. They do let you pull up to unload and load luggage for check-in/out and discount the parking garage fee. The Riverside view was spectacular and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I would stay again."

"This is a beautiful hotel nestled in an enchanting wooded area. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was exceptional with abundant space, comfortable bed, great workspace, amenities and nice charm. "I chose this hotel because it had a restaurant but without warning the restaurant was closed due to a wedding being on. The music finished at 12 as expected but the celebration carried on outside our room in the corridor until 2pm, with shouting, laughter and people/children running around. We didn’t get much sleep. Very disappointing. The upsides were hot water, nice soap and a kettle in the room. "
