"Stunning place with a consistent vibe. Unplug, be present in nature, unbelievable views. We were the only guests at the location that night and everything was perfect. We cooked a small meal on the BBQ, looked up at the amazing night sky, made a fire in the wood stove because it got chilly out, used the electric blanket and watched the sunset. "We had a fabulous time at Sunset Escape! Loved being on the lake, being able to use the boat slip, and fish off the dock. The house was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and also close to our fav Sand Bar and Wake Point. Check-in and check out was a breeze. Highly recommend staying here! "We came to this property for a dance convention. The location is great. Within walking distance of Horseshoe Bay Resort. Also parking out front. However the place smelled of dog. The couches were covered in dog hair and the pillows smelled so bad. Our friends stayed in the main floor room and said it reeked of dog in there. There was also dried up hair in the washing machine. Our toilet did break but the repair man came within a few hours to look at it. I think if they cleaned the place...
