"Parking charge of £10 is unnecessary and should be included with room booking. Fire alarm went off 3 times as a false alarm which meant going up and down the stairs with luggage and kids as lift stopped working. "A very comfortable and pleasant room, efficient and welcoming staff, and the breakfast was tasty and filling. Nothing to complain about within the powers of the staff, however it was a bit disconcerting when both lifts spent some time out of action during my stay."

The view from our window over the cathedral was spectacular, and we appreciated the hotel's centrality; we could pop in and out as we needed. The price of the breakfast was a little steep; we only indulged once, but would have liked to more: there was a good range of healthy options available. I was really sorry to leave this excellent accommodation at the end of our holiday."
