"Beautiful river views from the dining and breakfast rooms"

"We found the location quite central for the things we wanted to do and see in the city. The reception staff were very good and helpful for our planning of visits in the area. Room was very comfortable and spacious. All the staff we came across were very good and particularly so in the restaurant for breakfast. Food was plentiful and good too. "

"Well located and restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast. Only complaint would be street noise. Even though window was tightly closed it sounded like it was open. "

"No lift to upper floor was a bit of a pain for us. It might put us off staying in the Brandon House again. ((We're senior citizens with multiple ailments). The only other complaint is that there was no "comfortable" chair in the room for reading, PC work etc. The straight back chairs provided were not comfortable, more like dining chairs. On the plus side, the food was excellent & the staff were most helpful & friendly. The decor was intriguing & grounds were so interesting. Just put in a lift! "
