"The Swiss-Belmont in Banjarmasin is a great base camp for exploring the local floating markets. Very helpful staff (our tour guide did not show up and the hotel staff quickly arranged for an alternate boat for us). Restaurant was good and while they didn't have a full bar, they did serve beer"

"I have stayed in other hotels in banjarbaru but they were not nearly as nice as the upscale hotels in banjarmasin, until now. Grand maya is on the same level as the best of banjarmasin with a better price point as of now, and although I was unsure about being in the middle of both cities it actually worked out better as i I travel to both."
