As a person of color traveling in Europe, I’m very conscious of where I stay and I will say this hotel was the most welcoming hotel my partner and I ever stayed in. "The apartment was clean and with all necessary accessories. But the best thing about our stay was the owner. We made reservation late, about 10 PM and when we called at 10:30 same day, she has already prepared our room. Owner let us park in driveway so car was of the street. Next day she left glasses with vine and some cherries on our outside table!!!!! She gave us maps of Dubrovnik and some very useful suggestions where to go. AMAZING."

Villa is within walking distance to beaches, restaurants, and grocery shopping. The neighborhood is quiet. Dubrovnik is beautiful and our stay at villa Erna was amazing."

"Great studio apartment with necessary facilities for a short break. A little out of town but that also was a nice bonus if you like walking, close to beaches of Babin Kuk. There was a bit of road/pathway works by the harbour which made transit over a little rough ground, but local buses allowed access to miss….(which don’t show on map apps!)"

"The property was great, the host was great! Loved the location, it had a view of the water from every room, and from the cozy balcony. The property is down a walking only pedestrian road lined with restaurants and shops, has a door that goes up to the apartment right from the walkway. 83 steps to the apartment but all of Croatia is steps as it’s all on a mountain. "We spent one night in this beautiful apartment to allow us to see a little of Dubrovnik before flying home. We were greeted, as arranged, by Nikolina and Maro who made sure that we had everything we needed and gave us some tourist tips and a local map. The apartment has air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living area. It has two beautiful bathrooms and care has been given to making everything feel luxurious and modern. "The apartment was lovely... it was spacious, very clean and most adequate for our needs. Its location is good and the view was superb. At first it was a bit of a trek to and from the beach, as its up a slight hill or we used the 50+ steps hidden between the buildings leading to the beach and 'esplanade'. However, we found a 'lift' in the Cave Bar (part of More hotel) which took us right up to the top, so we walked a stone-throw-away to the apartment! Bliss! So we used the hotel's lift from then...

"We had a great stay at Villa Vinka. The property manager lives on premise and any request will get done promptly. Great area to be in as well. We were forunate that there were not other people present in the house, but I could see the walls may be thin if it was full. Great deal and it worked for us. A few of the light bulbs didn't work and the fan in the kitchen either but we were still able to cook (no microwave)."
