"While being an older hotel, we were pleased with the cleanliness and upkeep. It felt old world plush. We knew from reviews the beds would be hard (and they were) but we slept very solidly. We loved our balcony although the weather turned abruptly cold the second the sun went down. We arrived after there had been flooding earlier in the week, but it did not affect us in any way. The staff was wonderful. "

The Spa, Workout facilities and everything else compares favorably to any Five star hotel we've stayed in, in Italy or otherwise.
