The room was not as described on the app when booking, as the Family Room "king size bed and double sofa bed" turned out to be a king size bed and kids single foldout bed. "This was hands down favorite hotel that I booked for our entire trip! The room was super spacious, the bathroom had plenty of counter space, it had a nice sized shower with nice water pressure! We ate both dinner and breakfast (we opted for the additional charge for breakfast with our reservation) at their hotel restaurant and the food was great! We were really happy to see that they had pancakes on the menu. All of the staff were super friendly as well. "

Very spacious room for us which had en-suite facilities, fridge, seating area and tea & coffee facilities too. "Steve and Ginny were welcoming and kind. The “roost was comfortable and had a spacious bathroom. Walkers shortbread was left at our coffee and tea station -yum! Steve suggested the forests walks to the Spey River and we enjoyed that so much. We then drove over the Cairngorm mountain roads to visit the 3 B’s as Steve put it- Balmoral, Braemar and Ballater and followed Steve’s suggestion of dinner at The Puffin (a wonderful day!). There was no soap or toiletries. There was no other table to place things. Bags went on the floor. The space was small, but adequate for two of us. There were private and gang showers and toilets. "The lodge was in a great location for the centre of Aviemore. It had everything we needed and was comfortable accommodation for 6 adults. The only thing i could really fault was it could do with a little freshen up of paint. "
