"Mercure Wessex is an older boutique style hotel offering amenities such as restaurant and bar among others. While it is an older hotel/building the location of the Mercure is excellent! Right on the corner of Hight St with all of the great shopping and food options and steps away from the Winchester Bus station the hotel has an. incredibly convenient location"

"Booking this holiday with Expedia turned out costly for us, we booked this hotel as it was dog friendly but when we arrived and they saw our dog they was you haven’t booked a dog but there was nowhere to prebook on the Expedia site. We didn’t mind paying £15 per night for dog but they also charged us £20 per night for having to change our room "
