"As an American traveling with his wife and 3 kids, it is always a welcome surprise when the front desk persons speak English and tolerate my attempts at French. They were very kind. They understood and articulated the difficulties of driving in Rennes and so made good recommendations for amenities within walking distance. "Out of 5 hotels I've stayed at in France on this trip, this is the most "hotel-like" of what we stayed in. The room smelled like a hotel room, in the best way. The bathroom had a tub (although it still wasn't fully enclosed). Everything was clean and nice. You can make coffee and tea in your room; there were robes, which my daughter loves after her showers; and I loved having the water refill station in the lobby. The only negative thing was carrying our suitcases up the stairs to enter the hotel hahaha. I would definitely stay here again. "
