"The Ship is in a quiet country lane 2 minutes from a fabulous beach. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was really lovely, the bed so comfortable and ours had a beautiful view across the fields. We had dinner which was delicious too. A really peaceful place to stay."

"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "Shingle Cottage is lovely, it felt stylish and cosy all at the same time. It’s in a rural location, perfect for country walks and exploring the nearby towns and villages. We couldn’t have wanted for a nicer place to stay. "

"Lovely and quirky. We really enjoyed it. Ideal romantic getaway for a weekend. The private shower rooms/ toilet although dedicated to each hut are a very short walk away. Disappointed that the hot tub had to be reserved, but understandable in the present climate! Breakfast is simple…. Cook your own waffles and pancakes!!!! Would have been better to have cereals and toast with some jam and marmalade!!"
