The Lugano Dante hotel is a great hotel, the location can't be beaten, steps from the funicular and right by the city center, we walked everywhere. This hotel is very generous in terms of taking of customers, free drinks in room mini bar, coffee, espresso, apples, waters in the lobby, make one feel so much like home. We loved our three day stay at this lovely hotel. The views from the hotel of Lake Como and the City of Como were outstanding. We had a corner suite with two large floor to ceiling windows with views of the City of Como and its duomo as well as looking down the length of the lake. Our two sided balcony was amazing. We arrived at the hotel at a relatively early hour, checked in and left our luggage in the hotel. After a day of sightseeing in the area we returned to the hotel. The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff here were absolutely above and beyond. They were so kind and understanding id stay here again and highly recommend then hotel to anyone staying in the area. Also extremely Clean and very close walk to lots of amazing things.

This hotel was one of two unexpected gems. I cannot stress this enough, people. GO here. And get a room with a lake view. Pay extra for it if you have to, it's SO worth it. Very nicely kept property, spotlessly clean room. The building is a little hard to find, the piazza that is located at is a tiny roundabout, make sure you closely follow google map directions which are accurate. For a small hotel, this has the feeling of a large luxury resort. The staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcomed and at home. I was truly so pleasantly surprised by this place and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the beautiful Lake Como. No need for water views; this hotel has everything you could ever want.

I loved the views and that we had access to amazing grocery store (similar to Whole Foods) with a 15 minute walk (it’s moderate intensity to walk as some of it is uphill.) loved the huge rooms , even with the kitchen and all the amenities of an apartment and of course the balcony!
