"Very nice bed & breakfast with our own bathroom connected to the room. Rooms are a little on the small side but comfortable. It was a cold, rainy day & when we asked about the heat we were told it was off for the summer but hostess graciously turned it on so that we could get warmed up. Very pleasant hostess who welcomed us & suggested a restaurant nearby for dinner (Powers Thatch Bar & Restaurant) which was excellent. Breakfast was home cooked by hostess & good variety. Don’t book here if...

"Enjoyed the location very much, easy 15 minute walk into Westport. Our room was clean and stocked with coffee and tea. Patrice provided us some excellent dining suggestions. Our only issue is the plumbing in the bathroom. The toilet was tricky, the hot and cold taps on the sink were reversed and the shower was slow draining. Having said that we would stay again with the understanding that we did not book a 4 star B&B, nor did we pay the price for one. Overall good value for the money."

"The lodge is quiet!!! Our room was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable and the view of the lake from our room and the lounge was wonderful. Many thanks to our hosts, Connie and Donal, who were amazing. Breakfast was the perfect start to exploring the area. We spent time on the Aran Islands and in the fishing mecca of Oughterard. Donal and Connie know the area well and offered spot on advice and insights. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Connie and Donal!!!"

"Wonderful place in Westport. Christy and Margaret are wonderful hosts. Great place, nice room and a fantastic breakfast. Short walk into town-leave the car and walk into town as travel and parking in town can be nightmarish. Only negative, and this is not a deal breaker, is that the shower was a bit claustrophobic. Now I am six foot five so maybe not an issue for most people, but again, not major at all. Stay here-you won't be disappointed."
