"We were left needing overnight accommodation due to issues on the tunnel crossing, so we booked this hotel right at the last minute.
There were four of us, and so having the ability to have us all in one room was ideal. Being a dog friendly hotel was also a huge bonus, being as we were travelling with our pets.
We paid a very reasonable rate for a last-minute stay, including a fantastic breakfast the next morning.
We were also travelling in a large 4x4 vehicle with a roof box, so we needed...

Well located in a quiet mews 5 mins walk from the main squares. Room a bit old-fashioned, clean and comfortable (4 choices of pillow!), plenty of electric sockets, but disappointing absence of tea/coffee-making or even a welcoming bottle of water. No fridge or A/C; fan provided.
Book ahead for car park; manoeuvring a large car tricky when full. Two 7 kW EV chargers: one Tesla only - good value if you can get an overnight charge.

"I had a weekend booked here with my daughter. While waiting to board Eurostar I received a message saying to call them regarding my booking. (Why didnt you ring me) anyway I rang and was told there is a problem with our room and we can't stay and there are no more rooms available and someone will call in 5 minutes. No one rang. We still boarded our train and went straight to the hotel and was greeted by lady who was not very helpful, I don't speak French, she didn't speak English so had to use...

Close to all major roads and opposite a massive shopping centre yet safe and quiet at night.
Safe parking and comfy beds.
Breakfast is not worth the price - pop over to Starbucks in the shopping centre instead"
