They advertised air conditioning (climatisation) but it was not yet « turned on » for the season so we made do with fans. Opening the window helped but there were mosquitoes! This we found out was standard fare in the other French cities we visited however the hotel in Paris agreed to turn it on centrally, when we asked for it."
