"What a lovely hotel. From booking in to service in the bar and restaurant the staff were professional yet friendly. The room was well appointed. Little touches like a small bottle of real milk (not sachets) and the moulton brown toiletries made it extra special. Would recommend without hesitation. "

Ideal, but due to works going on, my room was over a temporary generator that ‘fired’ up every 30 mins or so all night, workmen then started at 7:30 both mornings with the ever ending beeping of their forklift. "Beautiful hotel in the country. Our room overlooked a field and we saw deer and rabbits often which was great. The room was huge with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is beautiful and traditional. The spa was nice. The pool was also nice. Some areas could use a bit of updating but it’s all part of the charm! Highly recommend for a great hotel and good value. "

"The room was clean and comfortable with all the necessities you need when on first arrival. This also included a lovely cooked breakfast with the option on preferences for how you wanted certain breakfast items cooked. It was a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and an ideal location for my wifes Graduation that we had at the weekend. And it being central to all the local amenities, would definitely stay again and visit the town centre and shops in the near future."
