This place is a must stay if you are in Gubbio. The facilities are fantastic, the owners and staff are terrific. Our room was beautiful, clean and quiet. The view from the room was amazing. Our dinner in the piazza in front of the hotel was wonderful as well.

Beautiful property with lots of hiking nearby and the amazing Frasassi Cave. The staff was friendly and the front desk workers spoke English.

About 20 minutes drive outside of Gubbio and up a mountain, the Castello provides a unique hotel stay. Our room was in a building inside the walls. It was quite large with a very roomy bathroom with both large tub and separate shower. Beams, stone walls and wooden shutters contributed to the castle atmosphere. The hotel is beautiful and well cared for. The staff is warm and very helpful. Another highlight is the wonderful breakfast in a gorgeous space. We had a lovely stay!

Gorgeous location looking high over the countryside of Gubbio. The on site restaurant was delicious. Loved the shaved truffles and cream sauce pasta. The pool also provided a nice refreshing dip after the heat of walking around Gubbio (though the required disposable swimming cap was a bit odd).

One of the most beatiful places I ever stayed, breathtaking views, incredible local food, and gorgeous room. It’s like staying in a piece of paradise.
