It's amusing how they try to learn different languages and are fantastic at engaging with tourists in their own languages. I met many wonderful people during my visit. Hasim, in particular, was incredibly helpful and gave me great advice on what to visit and where to eat."

"A truly lovely resort, but it has a number of shortcomings. I had a villa with pool and it was spectacular! Truly lovely. Took 2 days to get used to the outdoor bathroom, but it's safe. Things to note: You cannot order an alcoholic beverage for in-villa dining (except beer), but you can order a bottle @ ~3x the cost. (e.g. gin $135-$160 a bottle; JD $175; grey goose $210!). Get duty-free before you get to the island, if you can. There is no beach service except at the bar pools. My villa...

"Great hotel, from the warm welcome to last farewell everything was smooth and highly enjoyable. We loved the fact the whole island is set in lush greenery and i feels very private despite full occupancy. Staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. We stayed on half board basis and there was always something to choose from. I am sure there are better resorts for snorkeling but if you you are patient you find some good marine life as well (we did snorkel on the surf beach behind the reception)...
