"The hotel was lovely and a 5 min walk to the small harbour village. The room was serviced every day with linen change every 3 days. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely beach 5 mins walk beyond the harbour up the steps of the end restaurant. Free sunbeds if you buy a coffee or snack. Delicious homemade food and excellent breakfast. Pool is lovely and we were often the only ones using it. Would recommend."

"On arriving found Bratsera very easily - lovely setting and pool. Room was disappointing as not as the photos shown on Expedia. Breakfast buffet could be chaos but there was plenty of choice of food. Deposit required for pool towels. On the whole a comfortable stay "

"Rather than a guesthouse, this was a self-contained studio apartment. It was well-equipped. Great views and a small terrace and patio area. Housekeeping came once during the week. The owner met us off the ferry and took us to the apartment, we would never have found it otherwise. He did not come back to check if everything was ok, which would have been nice. Hydra is built on a hillside and to reach the apartment you had to climb many steps. It would not be suitable for anyone who is not fit...
