"The rock pool onsen was excellent and included too."

"Fantastic place to stay in Takayama. Great location and the hotel staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The hotel is in great shape as well and the onsen on the top floor with an outside option was nice."

"Great location, excellent staff, and plenty of options for food."

"Excellent place for all included vacation, good and plenty food and a wonderful onsen."

"This hotel was next level. From the amazing, friendly staff to the Hilton level amenities and standards. We were greeted in fluent English by super friendly staff to what seemed like a very empty resort. We believe it only seemed empty due to renovations to the second tower. We booked a private onsen for your family at the front desk and went to our beautiful room. The buffet dinner was fantastic and to follow the breakfast buffet was equally amazing. "A wonderful place! Exactly the atmosphere we were looking for."

"No English speaking or want to speak staff on site. Very unfriendly front desk staff. Wed. City is mostly closed, including all restaurants. Hotel did not inform guests and were not prepared. We did eat at their last reserved time at Chinese restaurant, which was terrible and not our choice for dinner. Only thing open. Breakfast was same almost everyday. Not fantastic, but do able Water was clean but not too hot. We will not return."

"Everything was absolutely amazing!"

"春慶荘に宿泊させていただきました。 まるで一軒家のようなお部屋に感動。 特に室内露天風呂はすごくよかったです。 清掃も綺麗にされており、清潔感もあり、とても心地よく過ごせました。 お料理も美味しく接客も素晴らしかったです。また絶対伺いたいと思います。"

"Amazing ryoken with private onsens, combination of totally new amenities with traditional style. wonderfully attentive staff and superb dinner !Been in a few ryokens before and this one surpass all."

"Came here with my husband and mother. A little sad that there was no view surrounding this ryokan. Unlike the ones I stayed in while I was in Hakone and Sapporo. This inn is small and has limited facilities (but it is enough.) Room was spacious and the futon was very comfortable to sleep in, staffs helped prepare the futons for us to rest efficiently. Both breakfast and dinner were good but a tad overpriced for what I was getting (beef portion was really little). The hot spring water was not as...

"We had a great stay at Ichika Machiya Holiday House. It was close to the train station and lots of great restaurants. The house was very very nice and clean. Thank you for a great stay! "
