"Our stay at The Swope Manor was magnificent! What’s a COMFORTABLE BED! Have not been that rested, comfortable and slept as late in years! Breakfast was delectable, with fresh fruit, French toast and sausages that left us ready to tackle the day. The property is beautifully maintained, with each room lovingly appointed, and again…THE BED (chefs kiss). We have an EV, so driving down from NY we were a bit concerned with keeping her battery full, but there was a charging station in the public parking garage right behind the property. The very convenient location of the manor made it possible for us to walk to the shops, restaurants and bars; necessitating driving only when touring the battlefields. The proprietors have thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and we would be thrilled to stay there again and again!"
