"Deeply disappointing: Staff effort can't mask mismanagement I booked a staycation with high hopes, but the experience was disheartening. While the staff are clearly hardworking and proactive, they are being set to fail by what appears to be lack of compentent management. Safety: Most alarming was finding a needle on the pool steps. The pool area also had floating debris and empty water bottles. Pervasive smells of sewage and garbage in unavoidable areas of the property. Room: The hardware was literally falling off the walls. A towel hook detached under the weight of a toddler’s rash guard. A rocking toilet and the bathroom had a persistent sewer stench. Dining: A steak sandwich that looked "pre-chewed" and the juices were so heavily diluted that even my child, who never turns down juice, refused to drink them. Nitpicking: Getting towels at the pool hut required calling the hotel's main external line, and maintenance chemicals were left unattended along the walking path. The sports equipment was in such a terrible state that it had to be handed to us with a rag. While "please be understanding of our shortcomings" signs are posted throughout the property, there is no request for guest surveys or feedback to actually address these issues. Overall impressions: Staff were wonderful, proactive, and went above and beyond to fix problems that shouldn't have existed in the first place. "The room is in major need for repairs, and had a animal urine smell from previous guests with dogs. Breakfast was good and delicious, staff super friendly and helpful. Pools were not very clean. Overall it was worth the price."

It is off the main road so a car rental or taxi service will need to be used if you want to explore the island. A free beach shuttle is offered so thats a plus, we didnt eat on property as we were mostly out."

"The hotel had a great location literally on the Grand Anse Beach, across the road from a mall, supermarket and KFC. However I booked double beds and got one king size. The food was average and the room dated. There was also no charging port for 2 pronged chargers. I had a good massage. It was my 40th birthday and while I got a cake it was a goof thing I walked with my own candles. "
