The first one in Firostefani was disappointing, despite good reviews on tripadvisor and hotels.com. Remezzo, in contrast, was amazing. We splurged on a pool suite and had a PERFECT view of the caldera, Oia, and the sunset, ALL TO OURSELVES. The stay at Smaro Suites was excellent. The room was very spacious and clean. It had all the amenities you needed and the location was great. The team there is also great. They went above and beyond in helping to make all requests and accomodations. Whatever we needed we asked and they made it happen. They are very nice and allowed us to stay on the property and even use a Jacuzzi after we checked out and waited until our flight in the evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone...

The location and feeling like we were staying in building dating back to medieval times beautifully renovated with details preserved ready for contemporary needs. The staff was very nice and trying to meet our needs. Our only complaint to the staff was the need for better lighting in the bathrooms and library. The level of lighting made it difficult to read, even in bed. Maybe a dimmer would work or a lamp next to seating areas. Otherwise only raves!

5 Star service. In 35 years of travel, this was by far the best service and staff I have experienced. Help with planning sight seeing, recommendations, and tickets. The chef was amazing with the breakfast. The villa was top notch with a great bed, pool, hot tub/Jacuzzi, patio area. Secluded, so not to worry about tourist watching you in your villa. Free transportation from the Port and Airport. Highly recommended, with great views of the sunset.

I am originally from Greece and currently live in South Florida. This is the 2nd time i have been to Santorini and my wife's 3rd.
