"The pillows were clearly horrible, square like the ones you put on a couch. The bedding was too small for the single beds. Even when you order a double bed room you get two single beds. There are no King size nor even queen size beds, just singles either solo, apart or together. The restaurant was empty at 6PM but when I wanted to dine there with my family we were refused and told to make a reservation with an earliest option of 8 PM! So we were forced to eat elsewhere. "It is not a four star hotel. Few amenities in the rooms, if any. No fridge, no mini-bar, no coffee making facility in the room; no comfortable seating in the room. Some staff were great, others were miserable. The internet was okay, TV okay, food was pretty good. They advertise laundry services but they should advertise, "Laundry available hit and miss". With me it was "miss". I was promised that if I brought my laundry on a Friday it would be ready by Monday. However,I was told, on Friday,...

"The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to a another room. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The restaurant had many dining options for snacking and dinner. The food was delicious "

"Design Hotel with amazing features and a lot of stairs. Check in is done at sister hotel Blue as well as a champagne breakfast buffet. Wonderful atmosphere access to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Easy walk from the train station for us. Can't wait to return. The staff was amazing and made you feel welcomed. Thanks for a lovely weekend away. Only negatives were some of the room designs. There is limited space in the bathroom sink for things. The bathtub is in the room so the splash zone...

"The room was nice and the place is a boutique hotel. They left a lot of dishes and such each day in our room. Even though the bed was made. It appeared they just made the bed. No sweeping and no removal of dirty dishes. "

"Excellent, visited this hotel as in February 9th 1945 my grandfather was outside here with the the 61st Highland Anti Tank Regiment. Great history in the area and the hotel. We did have a little difficulty during dinner with language barrier mixing our main courses and part of our order was not given however we received excellent help for an English speaking waiter and the situtwas rectified."
