"The hotel was fabulous, it was a peaceful space with so much character and charm. It was in a great location for sightseeing. The staff were also brilliant and the valet parking was an added bonus. We particularly liked the honesty bar which was set out in the late afternoon and early evening in one of the patios. Even though we had a large main bathroom with a spa bath, the shower and toilet area was quite small which was a challenge for my husband."

"Nice hotel where we have stayed before. Good breakfast if slow coffee. Helpful staff and pleasant outdoor areas. Perfect location and a good pool which swimable in mid May ie not exactly freezing. Particularly liked the arrangement where no housekeeping equals two huge glasses of wine each day. Good for the environment and bad for my liver."
