"First time to Scotland on a solo trip. I loved it and I loved this hotel. Very comfortable. There was a door next doo that kept slamming over and over and maybe needed to be fixed. Once those people checked out, it was peaceful. Next time I’ll book a castle view but it was really nice. Food was delicious at the hotel. Loved the iced tea and water containers as you walked in. It was a nice touch after a long day of walking. I was also grateful for the button at the desk to call a taxi to Waverly Station. . Very helpful. "

"The location of the hotel was 3 blocks from St. Guiles Church. I stayed in the Castle Turret facing the street and it was very quiet. Staff was helpful and the breakfast offered by the hotel was satisfying. Friendly staff and a clean good size room. I would stay here again."
