"The Hotel De La Ville Avellino is a good choice if staying in Avellino. A 15 minute walk from Hotel thru the main street and square is easy, with many restaurant choices. Rooms clean, beds firm/ comfortable, bathroom updated -- all workable and fine. AirCond is so-so, but can open windows in cool evenings. Front desk staff very helpful and responsive"

"The Kore Hotel is a beautiful modern hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is ample parking. However it is located in an industrial area outside of Salerno. There are a few good restaurants but a car is necessary to go anywhere. "

The bed was okay, but certainly could have used a new mattress and the bed covering was ancient. Nevertheless, the room was a good size, the bathroom was large with a good shower, and it was clean. "Picturesque location spoilt by unfinished major construction next door. Pool was very dirty, full of flies and wasps swarming around it. A simple clean up and lick of paint in places at minimal cost would make a huge difference to what felt like a very tired and neglected hotel. We chose not to stay over night and found an alternative hotel due to our disappointment with the pool and outside areas."
