The restaurant & bar were closed 2 nights out of our 3 and the lobby lights were dimmed ..no visible staff at the reception, so the hotel felt empty & deserted. "

"No food available when we arrived tired and hungry. No room service. We had to go back out at 10.40pm looking for a restaurant nearby that was still open or else eat fast food. This is not the standard we expect from Mercure."

"The location is great next to the Starlight Express Theatre which we were visiting. Unfortunately the bar was closed after we’d seen the show although we were able to use the fridge in the lobby. Breakfast was a buffet style and an excellent selection. The room was a good size although the decor was rather dated. Overall we had a good stay."
