"Full of character and very welcoming staff. Perfect if you want a hotel that is unique, full of charm and history right at the heart of the Medina. The roof terrace with different seating areas is a bonus. might not suit those who like the big hotel chains, but I would choose this every time. "

"Customer service is definitely the number one reason why I'm giving this property 5 stars out of 5, overall. I don't care that the only way to access this place is by foot, or that getting lost finding one's way to it is guaranteed, or that it may not be for folks other than adventurous solo travelers or couples with no children, or those with nostrils that can stomach the smell of sewer or cat poo. I will go back to this place again and again as long as the same staff who welcomed me on my first visit to the beautiful country of Tunisia are still there."
