Quick walk into Santa Margherita and a short bus ride (or ~30min walk) to Portofino. The hotel staff was amazing. They helped us make reservations/called taxi’s and were all around very pleasant. Recommend ferry to Portofino (hotel ideally based a few minutes walk to jetty). We walked back the 5km which is a beautiful route but a long way! Beautiful hotel with lovely looking facilities - we wished we were staying longer than one night."
