"Breakfast is superb and the staff is exceptional. The location is beautiful albeit isolated.
Main shortcoming for me is the size of most rooms, really tiny.
They have a few beautiful suites in the “400 house “ if you are willing to pay the steep price. Those are confortable, bright and spacious enough.
Another concern for some people maybe displacements from rooms to facilities. This is a spread out property and there is considerable walking to be done, in cases over uneven terrain."

Am zweiten Abend bis 0:00 Uhr fand fast vor unserem Zimmer eine große Party / Hochzeitsfeier mit DJ statt. Wir haben uns letztlich beschwert.
Wir würden nicht mehr buchen. Hatten das Hotel vor 6 Jahren besucht, da war es noch in privater Hand. Jetzt gehört es zu Bonvoy und gefällt uns nicht mehr. Der Charme ist verloren gegangen."
"The spa facilities are top-notch and truly the highlight of this property. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the food.
We had dinner at the main restaurant, Minamo, and it was one of the worst meals I've had in recent memory. The restaurant felt more like a large banquet hall than a fine dining venue, and it was clearly understaffed.
After that experience, we canceled our sushi dinner reservation and chose to eat elsewhere.
In my opinion, this is an excellent destination for a day...
"The property is beautiful and very authentic, with very comfortable rooms. However, when we arrived at the check-in time of 3 PM, we were eager to enjoy beach activities such as canoeing and kayaking. Unfortunately, the reception desk informed us that it was too late to do these activities, which was disappointing."
