"Great little hotel with a private beach, and an amazing view of Kotor Bay. The staff are great human beings, and very considerate. The little bay it's in is great because it's somewhat shielded from the boats going through Boka Bay, which you won't find so much at other hotels. The biggest winner was the food. That little kitchen makes an excellent breakfast, both a la carte and buffet, and their dinners are world class, punching way above their weight. I didn't feel like leaving the three days...

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Alkima. Our room had a view and balcony overlooking the bay which was lovely to watch the boats go by and sit and read a book in the sun. We enjoyed the 25 minute walk along the front into Kotor town. The hotel staff couldn’t do enough for us, they booked a boat trip, ordered a taxi and gave us recommendations on restaurants. Breakfast included a great choice. Lovely family run hotel which I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. "

"This hotel was like a little apartment. I had my own kitchen, with dishes and cookware. a large bed and a nice bathroom. The hotel was quiet. And being right on the bay offered excellent views. They have a little area on the bat with chairs and tables where you could sit and have a drink or morning coffee. Downtown Kotor can get packed, but this area is not crowded. "There is no denying that the location of this hotel is beautiful. The view was just memorising and we never got bored of it. With only 6 rooms there were many times during our stay that we had the pool to ourself. The chef was great, the breakfast lovely and he was clearly very talented. We were however disappointed in a number of aspects. We found the service poor. There were many times throughout the day when we couldn't find the member of staff to order drinks or water top ups.
