"I stayed here for a week and found the hotel, and especially the staff, amazing. This very reasonably-priced luxury hotel has a most attractive classical Egyptian theme throughout and everything is kept spotlessly clean I requested a room looking out over the Nile and it was well worth the little extra it cost. The food - breakfast, lunch and dinner - was all to a very high standard, the service was great, and the cost was almost embarassingly low for such quality. The Italian restaurant has a very talented chef and I ate there most evenings. The rooftop bar and pool are a great bonus. Every single member of staff I had dealings with was friendly, cheerful and most helpful. I make special mention of Marina, Katherine and Fatma (front of office supervisors) and Naglaa (housekeeper supervisor) and their staff who looked after me so well. Thank you. I will be back! ."

The store they had to shop in were such a great touch and made buying souvenirs much easier but they were hidden … they should be promoted more by the hotel …. "We had a wonderful stay at Kato Dool Wellness Resort! The staff were very kind and accommodating — they even allowed us to check out late because our flight was delayed, which we truly appreciated. The view from the top of the mountain is absolutely amazing, especially at sunrise overlooking the Nile river. Since the resort is located uphill, we had to take a tuktuk to go up and down to the village. The ride can be a bit bumpy and dusty, which some people might not enjoy, but it didn’t bother us at all and added a touch of adventure to the experience. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable stay."
