"We loved the hotel. Our dinner, however , was disappointing. We had to do everything short of fetching and preparing our food. From requesting menus, the check, bread, and having food eventually brought over that had clearly been sitting in the window as it was mildly warm when we finally got it, that was the only downfall. "We stayed at Scandic Continental for 5 nights, arriving from the airport by train, giving us a 3 minute walk from Central Station...big plus point for ease of transfer. On arrival, we could see straight away that this would be a great place to stay. Modern, clean and with great facilities, I can find no fault with this hotel. Our room on floor 9 had a corner aspect, giving great views to the nearby church, across the city and to the harbour. The room was excellent, modern and with a clean elegant feel. Possibly the highlight though was the included breakfast. Available on floors 1 and 3, it was an extensive buffet....hot items, cold meat and cheese, waffles, cereal, yoghurt, and much more. An excellent breakfast. In summary, the Scandic Continental is highly recommended."
