"Everything “physical” about this hotel was excellent - the staff, the rooms, the food and the condition. However, the policy of providing rooms, earlier than the stated check in time, for a separate charge per hour left a sour taste for me. I chose not to accept this rip-off deal. I am disappointed that Mercure have chosen to go down this ‘Ryanair-style” exploitation. A consequence, for me, was I deliberately chose not to spend any additional money in the hotel. "Reehorst is always friendly and reliable. I only stay here for work so I can't comment on anything other than the basics of checking in, out, quality of room, etc. The only thing I would say is that while breakfast is absolutely fine, it's expensive for what you get."
