"It is a great hotel, but for summer or spring season is not very recommended, it does not have air conditioning and rooms can get very very hot. Aside from that inconvenience, the hotel is on a great spot, just steps from the main train station. Breakfast is great!"

Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places open on Sunday. Nice place to stay for three or four days at least."

"The receptionist said they don't have a room for us although we had booked about 2 months before arrival! They did not even properly apologize and made the excuse that they didn't have a number to call me! They could obviously contact me through hotels.com What a terrible place. It was raining hard and they told us to go to a hotel 5 mins walking distance and they didn't even offer help ( we are a family with baby)! "The staff at Reception were super but there was a problem with the Health Centre staff. The infotmation about hours when the pool was available to hotel guests was wrong and we missed out on a swim on our first day as a result. We ate the evening buffet which was good and very good value. Its close to the forest - good for walkers and cyclists but otherwise you need a car."
