"First time away from Cinnamon properties when on business. Thought would give Marriott Courtyard a try. Stay at Marriott in Yogyakarta and love it. "This historically significant property is an absolute gem of a boutique hotel in the midst of Colombo. The restaurant is also wonderful, Such a surprise as we found it randomly and had no idea that it was the former prime minister's house and that Charles and Camilla had stayed there. Our room next to the beautiful courtyard pool had a four poster and a private terrace and a huge gorgeous modern bathroom. It is an old house but the decor is v. cool! So much so that they have a chain of shops...
