"This was a very basic "hotel". The first room I was put in was pretty bad and looked as though it had not been decorated since the 1980's. There are not blackout curtains on any of the windows so be prepared to have the sun come blasting in at 6 AM. The beds feels like something you would have slept on in sleep away camp when you were a child. "The location of this hotel is quite a bit outside of the village, but the walk into town along the lake is so pleasant, it actually was a plus. The town was surprisingly charming and so much more interesting than we were led to believe. (We almost prefer it over Lindau for its charm.)The cobblestoned streets, the lake promenade with several waterside restaurants and cafes, the wineries, the upper town and lower town were fantastic. The hotel staff was extremely positive and helpful and polite....
