"Beautiful property! Perfect for a large family, friends or a couple. The house is spread out for maximum privacy. The common area and outdoor space is great for making memories that will last a lifetime. The "Fountain of Youth" was enjoyed by young and old alike. "ā€‹My wife and I recently enjoyed our first visit to St. Croix. It is a fascinating island with so much rich history; we made sure to explore the sights at Fort Frederik and Christiansted, and took in the beautiful views at Point Udall. ā€‹The Buccaneer Resort is a lovely property, and overall, we had a good stay. The atmosphere is very quiet, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the drinks at the beach were fantastic. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. ā€‹However, there were a few areas where our experience didnā€™t quite meet expectations. During our dinner at The Terrace, we found the staff to be quite slow and inattentive, even during a slower period. Regarding our accommodations, while the room was generally fine, the beds were quite firm, making it a bit difficult to get a comfortable night's sleep. Additionally, we were disappointed that the air conditioning stopped working entirely on our final night. ā€‹While we enjoyed the beauty of the resort and the island, we hope these service and maintenance issues can be addressed for future guests."
